Entity and regulator

Titanium Insurance SPC holds a Class B(iii) insurer licence granted by the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority (CIMA) under the Insurance Act, 2010, subject to CIMA's standard licensing conditions.

CIMA describes a Class B insurer’s licence as permitting an exempted insurer to carry on insurance business other than domestic business, subject to the statutory sub-classification and the particular licence. Further information is available from the CIMA insurance sector page and its licensing requirements.

02

Scope of public statements

Descriptions on this site are general and do not expand Titanium's licence, approved business plan, portfolio permissions or any conditions imposed by CIMA.

The availability of a product, amount, tenor, retention, territory or structure is never automatic. It is confirmed only through transaction-specific underwriting and authorised documentation.

03

Jurisdictions and local issuance

Products and capacity are available subject to underwriting approval, local law, licensing requirements, sanctions, policy or bond wording, and the availability of appropriate insurance, fronting and reinsurance arrangements. References to a jurisdiction do not imply that Titanium Insurance SPC is directly authorised to write business in that territory.

Where a locally authorised insurer issues a policy or bond and Titanium participates through reinsurance or another approved structure, the issuing insurer remains responsible for its own contract. Any reinsurance relationship is separate and subject to its own terms and applicable law.

04

No offer, advice or binding commitment

Nothing on this website is an offer to insure, solicitation, quotation, binder, policy, guarantee or commitment to provide capacity. Content is not legal, regulatory, tax, financial, investment or insurance advice.

Insurance cover or surety support exists only when final terms have been approved by authorised parties and the relevant contract has been validly executed or issued.

05

Financial strength and counterparties

Titanium does not claim a public financial-strength rating on this website. A licence class, regulatory capital requirement, corporate structure or reinsurance arrangement is not itself a rating or guarantee of payment.

Partner, insurer, reinsurer, broker or rating references are only valid when specifically confirmed for the relevant transaction. Third parties make their own decisions and are not bound by website content.

06

Sanctions and prohibited business

All business is subject to applicable sanctions, anti-money-laundering, counter-terrorist-financing, anti-bribery, beneficial-ownership and other financial-crime controls. Titanium may decline, suspend or withdraw from a matter where legally required or where information is incomplete or unsatisfactory.

07

Contact and formal notices

General enquiries may be started through the contact page or by email to submit@titanium-insurance.com. Website and general email messages are not a valid method for giving notice of a claim, circumstance, cancellation, complaint deadline or other formal matter unless the relevant contract expressly says so.
