How to raise a complaint
Start through the contact page or email submit@titanium-insurance.com, identify the message as a “Complaint”, and include your name, organisation, contact details, policy or bond reference, parties involved, a clear chronology and the outcome sought.
Do not send highly sensitive or privileged documents through the initial web form. A secure route can be provided where documents are needed.
Which party should handle it
Where a policy or bond was issued by a local insurer, that insurer may be the contracting party and may have a mandatory local complaints process. A broker, claims administrator or other service provider may also be responsible for the service complained about.
Titanium will seek to identify the appropriate route and, where lawful, explain if the matter needs to be referred to another regulated party. Referral does not alter contractual notice requirements.
Information to provide
- Policy, bond, claim or transaction reference.
- Name of the issuing insurer, broker and applicant where known.
- Dates, correspondence and a concise description of what occurred.
- Any deadline or active legal, court or regulatory process.
- What action or resolution you are seeking.
Claims and formal notices
A complaint is not the same as a claim or notice of circumstance. Follow the notice clause and contact details in the relevant policy, bond or agreement. Using the website does not extend or preserve a contractual or legal deadline.
Regulatory information
Titanium Insurance SPC is licensed by the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority. Information about CIMA and its insurance sector is available at cima.ky/insurance. Whether CIMA or another local body is the appropriate external route depends on the product, complainant and parties involved.
Nothing on this page limits any right to obtain independent advice or approach a competent court, regulator or dispute-resolution body where available.
Privacy
Complaint information is handled in accordance with the privacy notice and may be shared with insurers, reinsurers, managers, advisers, regulators or other parties where necessary to investigate and respond.
